Lesley University seeks an Associate Provost of Mental Health and Wellbeing to provide strategic leadership for a comprehensive, equity-centered wellbeing vision across campus. Reporting to senior leadership, this executive role oversees the development, coordination, and assessment of mental health, prevention, and wellness initiatives that support students, faculty, and staff. The Associate Provost partners closely with academic, counseling, and student affairs units to align services with Lesley’s mission of social justice, creativity, and student-centered learning, ensuring an inclusive, data-informed, and innovative approach to campus wellbeing. Provide strategic vision and leadership for university-wide mental health and wellbeing initiatives Develop and implement policies, programs, and services that promote student, faculty, and staff wellbeing Lead cross-functional collaboration among academic, student affairs, and counseling units Oversee assessment, data analysis, and continuous improvement of wellbeing programs Supervise and mentor professional staff and campus partners engaged in mental health initiatives Advise senior leadership on emerging mental health trends, risks, and best practices Champion equity, inclusion, and social justice in all wellbeing strategies Manage budgets and resources to expand and sustain mental health and wellbeing services Strategic planning for mental health services Higher education leadership Clinical mental health knowledge Program development and evaluation Policy development and compliance Data-informed decision making Budgeting and resource allocation Staff supervision and team leadership Crisis response planning Cross-campus collaboration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed mental health professional credential preferred (e.g., LMHC, LICSW, Psychologist) Advanced training in higher education leadership, counseling, public health, or related field Demonstrated experience with equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives Proven record of leading cross-functional teams in complex organizations
